Legal and disclaimers

Never eat a plant, or part of a plant, you have not positively identified. GrowingHQ records which parts of a crop are edible and which are not — and that information is only useful once you are certain what you are holding. Where a plant has both edible and harmful parts, the record says so; where a plant has none recorded, that is an absence of data rather than a statement of safety.

GrowingHQ does not give application instructions for any pesticide, fertiliser or treatment. Approvals differ by country, change without notice, and the product label is legally binding. The label on the bottle in your hand is the authority; nothing here replaces, summarises or overrides it.

Notifiable pests and diseases, invasive species rules and waste-disposal requirements are jurisdictional and change. Where GrowingHQ mentions a legal requirement it names the jurisdiction, and you must check the current position locally before acting on it.

Growing outcomes depend on your soil, your climate, your season and your cultivar. GrowingHQ labels every claim with the kind of support behind it and how confident we are — the methodology page explains the model. Guidance labelled as a GrowingHQ editorial position is our judgement, openly marked so you can discount it.
