Soil is offered as a filter because every plant in the catalogue can now be assessed against every soil — the question asks for a soil by NAME rather than for a pH number, because a name is a thing a gardener can establish with a spade and a pH number is not. Regional climate is implemented in the engine underneath and is not offered yet: it would need timing data resolved for more regions than GrowingHQ currently holds, and a confident answer from thin data is worse than no filter.
